Some people seem so afraid of getting older. I always wondered why.

there are some things that only come with age – both good and bad, but I’m really appreciating the good right now.

Knowing yourself better, your strengths, your weaknesses, your needs.
Knowing those around you better, building relationships that last, having people who just get you.

But i think the mistake people often make is that they begin to take things for granted.

Let the glaze of everyday cover their eyes. not tell the people around them that they are important, give themselves away to work – things like that.

We all come into this world alone, then we die alone. But everything in between has to count for something – if it doesn’t, then what’s the point?
