I do want to check out Coffee Bar K, mainly because it’s Japanese and I trust them when it comes to quality. Also, my colleague was talking about Speakeasy. Might take the time to check that out as well.

Turning 24 has been amazing to say the least.

I’ve been at the same company for 1 1/4 yrs – not bad for a first job and I’m really glad with it.

We have new friends (: I remember there was a time when we would joke that we where going to get so sick of each others faces after being friends for so long. Also because we’re seriously not the most sociable people in the world. But hey, all hope is not lost. We managed to find others just like us (:

Its really an absence makes the heart grow fonder kind of relationship, because I miss these guys the moment we’re apart. How sickeningly mushy.

There is so much love in my life – I no longer feel lonely, because I’m just so content with myself.

Health is seriously not to be taken for granted. Ade & I were told that we have gastritis. Its nasty, but it’s kept me in check. I’ve changed my diet, cut down on everything unhealthy (trust me, it wasn’t easy) and started exercising. I must say, I feel a lot better because of it.

I’ve managed to carve out time to do things I love. Silent sitting, active meditation and reading (latest in line have been Chroma by Derek Jarman and The Monocle) One for the heart and one for the brain.

I know that this post could make me sound like a pompous arse, but I’m just so glad it’s all fallen into place because it hasn’t been easy.

You know, when you’re young, you get so afraid of growing up for some reason. But I wouldn’t change anything and I’m so glad to be here. Happy 24th to me (:
